Check individual product information. Administration instructions are different for each formulation. All formulations are recommended for administration via larger enteral tubes. For patients with fine-bore enteral tubes in place, consider switching to lansoprazole Fastabs® which are less likely to cause a blockage.
Notes
Granules should be dispersed in water and left to thicken before administration. Micro-granules contained within capsules and tablets must not be crushed.
